no,, in fact as far as population goes ,,,we have more harley davidsons,,,,,big block muscle cars,,,in factory condition,,more corvettes,,,more hot rods,,,,than any country in the world,,,i am not trying to be smart ,, but its a fact
murray walker the official formula 1 commentator,,said last year there is more rare and exotic cars in australia than any country in the world,,
we love our cars here,, as you will see the new GTO,,its made here,,,,, and its good to drive and not just to look at,,,,,
i can supply any photos you guys want ,,,,just e mail me,, lukerene1@optusnet.com.au
as far as engineering goes these 80,s camaro,s cars are poor,,,,just look at the turbo 200c,,the torque rod setup,,,,the little brakes,,,,but i will strive to get it going as good as it looks,,,i also cant believe the brakes on this car are so small,,for a big car,,,my brakes are no larger than a 2 litre volvo,,or an australian gm car of the 60,s
but its still a good looking car and a little rare here,, as not many of these cars were bought in during the 80,s compared to mustangs and camaro,s 20 years earlier, lots of the later 4th gen cars are always comming into our country,,and being converted to RIGHT HAND DRIVE,,,,there is still quite a few of these cars 80,s here ,,,but our camaro club here has mainly 60,70,s models,,,yes we have ZL1,s here,,,i know one that was just restored,,it was an old race car, with a big history,,the car was sebring orange,,,,, yes it is an alloy 427 car,,,,, anyone who, wants to keep in contact, with me, dont hessitate,,,,,, i answer all e mails if i am not working too much,,,i kind of feel these are the forgotten models,,i wanna get it crankin,, and fly that camaro flag high like it used to fly here on club nights,,,,, as far as the rear end goes,, i honestly think a 9 inch ford is the answer,,,,put it in and forget it,,,,,,,but the 10 bolt will have to do for now,,,,steve
