Car: 88 gta ....89 formula 350
Engine: 5.7......383
Transmission: heavily reworked 700r4
what gear ratio is this???
the rearend in my 1989 formula 350 was replaced when i bought the car..............it says on one of the tags ( p.n. 10046604) (ratio:2-77 )...and on the other it says (spin resistant diff ) use only approved lubricant........im running ported&polished vortec heads, ported& polished plenum,edelbrock runners, headers,roller rockers/lifters,2300 stahl conv,24# injectors,10-1 compression ratio........is this a good gear for what i have or does anyone recommend something else.......thanks

It's a highway gear ratio. That's a 9-bolt rear, and parts for it are a little harder to come by. This fellow, http://www.koolmeister.com , who hangs out on the Tranny & Drivetrain forum, can help you out.
