how much fork travel do you t56 guys have? mine acts like there is no travel (1/2") at the trans. it is almost like the fork piviot is out to far from the trans and the fork hits the pressure plate. I pulled the trans back about 2 inches and loosened the bolt for the piviot and made sure it was in all the way it just does not seem right at all. when everthing is in the fork is almost flush with the bellhousing it's self (spacer off)

also the pedal only moves about an inch and then the rod pops off its like I hit a wall and then it snaps off

I pulled the piviot all the way out everything was perfect! the only thing I can think of is if centerforce made the flywheel too thick. I did searches every way I can think of and it looks like I am the only one to ever have this problem

From what I've found out on camaroz28.com all aftermarket cultches use a LT4 pressure plate with there own disks, so I can relate with my spec clutch. The most travel I can get is 1" tell it hits the pressure plate, also my fork is flush with the bellhousing to. I modified my master cylinder so it wouldn't extend the fork the full inch and grind into my pressure plate, plus my peddles line up now. Check out this thread for a pic at what I have done, it might work for you https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...ghlight=master

If you need more help with your clutch problems it might be a good idea to ask the fourth gen guys on camaroz28.com

thanks, I got it working right now. I took the "T" stud and ground some metal off of the base (about .080) bringing it in toward the trans more shortend the bolt the same and now it seems to work. the pedal feelas good and acts just like the t-5 one but, that plastic clip is broken from the first time I tried it and when I get it to the floor it pops off. I already have a few comming so I will see if that does the trick
