Ive driven dump trucks with shorter throws than the stock shifter in the 91, a friend has a hurst billet plus shifter that came out of a fox body mustang with a T5, will it work with the console and everything in the camaro? I have heard it will, and have heard that it wont. I dont see there being a problem, the console is right above the tranny like a fox body, any suggestions?

the f-body t-5 and the fox body t-5 have differant shifter mounting holes on the trans it's self ,the fox body is longer and looks very similar to the t-56 in the 93-up f-bodys

 

the f body t5 is rotated on the bellhousing, the mustang isnt. so i'm going to say no it wont work but if you find the correct shifter stick it should work. I would call hurst and chech the PN's
