posi

Not sure if this is what you want to know but, posi is when both wheels spin at the same time. It gives you better trackin, also makes it a little more fun. If you want posi you need a posi rear end.

with the correct series carrier all you need to do is swap a posi carrier in place of the non posi and swap the ring gear over. check back lash and you'd be all set

Powertrax

Add a powertrax unit from Jegs or Summit. It won't make the differencial any stronger, but you can install it yourself without having to set the rear end gear lash again. This saves time and money. The powertrax replaces your spider gears.

But if you want a stronger rear end, you'll have to spend the money all over again anf install a new posi unit.

The stock rear end with a powertrax unit should handle a mild 350 on street tires with a girdle, and smart driving.

I went that route before"pwertraxx" and it worked great for straight shots and was pretty tuff....but they do make noises in slow turns ...so if your looking for smooth action and no noises go with a different setup, but as I said the Powertraxx is strong and made of Zitanium the noise was the only thing that I didnt like but other than that its great
