replace rear end or rebuild?

im not sure what i should do about my 9 bolt rear end. both axel shafts are bent and i think my posi is slowly going as well. at this point im not sure wether its better to buy a whole new rear end or just replace the axel shafts and "try" to fix the posi later on. some where i heard that 9 bolts arent rebuildable, is this true? and does that mean i cant fix the posi? i am just recently trying to learn about the inner workings of differentials, if the inside of the differential can be fixed or replaced than im sure i can do it myself. but if i can get a new rear end for almost the same price id much rather do that, because this thing is a rusty peice of ****. what do you guys recomend i do?

do a little price shopping and i ithnk you'll find it more cost effective to replace than rebuild

Most 9 bolts can be rebuilt with the proper parts (ie not just more shims!). 9 bolts are not cheap, they are much stronger than a 10 bolt and new posi units and ratios to 4.10 are available.

is it at all possible i could get my axel shafts bent straight again? moser's rear ends are a little out of my price range at the moment. i can still drive around fine on the bent ones, but it feels really screwed up and i get alot of vibration at higher speeds.
