Couple of questions I couldn't find the answer to.
Some people said it was a PITA to do others say that its easy, even uses the same shift cable. How hard it it to get this in?

I have a 4th gen manual console. Will this fit? Can I accidently slide it from the street side to the race side while in gear because it doesn't have the grove cut in the console?

I can't help too much, but I can tell you that my buddy has one in his '84 T/A and loves it. Never heard him complain about putting it in. I will be getting one for mine as soon as i get more money. All I can say is tu buy it and put it in if you like it. It might be a little hard, but I am sure you can get it to work.
