questions about keeping my borg warner 5 speed.
i seen many guys running 350ci motors one their 5 speeds,
how do the transmissions hold up i have heard a few things in the area of they break at a low torque #,
if i want to keep it and go bigger torque what should be upgraded? besides clutch.
any big things i should know about the t-5 would be great i know didly about it, id like a pro 5.0 shifter buddy say his rocks, but he has a 94 formula with t56.

It certainly is possible to break a T5 that is mated to a 350 engine, but it will be fine if you don't abuse it. I've had a 350 in front of my T5 for over a year and a half now and it's fine, and my T5 has 115,000 miles on it. The trick is I don't abuse it. I am considering a rebuild though through G-force, a company whose link I've listed below. Another member here listed this site recently and I've been reading up on it. They can rebuild your T5 with all new internals that are rated up to a much higher power level.

what kind of limits on the t-5's would every one say there are, are they really rated at a hp limit and torque limit, what is it, does a better clutch make the tranny stronger or more suseptable to damage because of better gripping of the good clutch?
