3.23s 2 or 3 series carrier?

rear end off of a 85 iroc auto...

If they are the stock gears that came in the case, then it is a series 3 case. (if that is your question). The series 2 case holds 3.08 and numerically lower, the series 3 holds 3.23 and higher.
