Posi question
Okay. Here goes. When the car is cold, I can drive just fine, turn fine, posi doens't make any wierd noises. After a point, I guess the unit is nice and warm, it makes a lot of racket - whines when I turn the car, little ka-klunk noises when I let off the gas, sounds atrocious. I had the fluid changed last week, they put 90W in it, but is there some additive I need, or would a rebuild be a better bet?
Note: I was going to get a better-strength unit eventually, perhaps I might need to do that now...

Oh yeah, that would help, huh...
Stock 2.73's I thunk. Limited-slip unit, whatever the GTA came with in '88.

Cone type LSD's don't require the use of any additive. Only the ones with clutch disks require the additive, as necessary. Most 7 1/2" and 7 5/8" 10 bolts with factory installed LSDs that I'm aware of came with the cone type diffs.
