Is the posi worn?

Hey guys i had a Auburn differental series posi installed in my car middle of August and the other weekend at the track i used my slicks on my prostar rims and after goin thru the water box to get the tires wet, i did my burnout and my friend told me (on my first run) your driver side tire wasnt spinning untill after you let off the brakes, then it started to spin.

i figured maybe i didnt get it wet enuff, so on my second run about an hour and half later, tryed to get the tires alittle wetter. i started to do my burnout but got on the throttle alittle slower then the first one and both tires were roasting, but after i let go of the brakes and was moving forward the driver side tire wasnt spinning like it should have coming out of the burnout.

is there anychance i could have burned out the clutches in the posi? ive heard you can bring back a posi by doin a burnout or spinning the tires in reverse, dunno if thats true. also i dont know what the mechanic used for gear oil , like the weight or type.

what do you guys think? i also need new gears becuz the teeth have a sharp edge on them so i wanna replace them but dunno if i should save for a new posi again. if so ill just get the Pro series from Auburn.
