Same Rear Axle
My left axle is bent from an accident by the previous owner, (must of hit a curb pretty hard). Repairing it is almost impossible. I'm told that I have 28 spline 10 bolt axles. correct? if so what other years and styles of camaros can I get thoses identicle axles from? say, in a junkyard.

That is correct (assuming the rear is the one that came in the car).
Shouldn't be too hard to find axles. Any Camaro or Firebird 90-92, and some 89s, will have what you need. Doesn't matter if it's a 6-cyl or a V8, or what gears, or whether your rear or the donor has posi, or any of that; they're all the same.
Quickly.... put yourself on the other side of that junkyard's counter. Imagine that you are the proud owner of a rear that will sell for $150-$200, guaranteed, absolutely no risk whatsoever that it won't sell at that price. Now imagine that somebody walks in and wants one axle out of that rear. You, being the experienced junkyard owner that you are, also know that removing that one axle from that rear will render the remainder of the rear completely worthless. Quick: what do you tell them?
(a) You don't have one; or
(b) $200
Right?
Even if you do get "one axle" from a junkyard, what you will actually be doing, is buying a whole rear from them, and simply using their disposal service by leaving behind the parts you don't want.
I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's the cold hard reality of the situation.
You can buy a brand new axle from Superior for about $125. http://www.footeaxle.com/Pages/start.html
