Ring & Pinion break in??
Hey guys I just had a 10-bolt all rebuilt with all new bearings and seals and a zexel torsen posi unit with some richmond 3.73 gears on it. Now I just got the rear in the car tonight and in the richmond instructions it says drive the car for 10 miles then let it cool for 30 mins and do this 2-3 times, so I did it 3 times. Now is that it? can I go beat on it now or what? thanks guys

Don't be surprised if your gears smell like gear oil when you first get on them. Mine smelled and got REALLY hot for about 4 days then they were fine.
