auburn posi and rear gear?

what type of posi should have come with my 10 bolt in 1991?

also, i'm changing out my gears and i can't decide wether to go aftermarket or gm seeing as how they are the same price. any suggestions with reasoning?

If parts are the same price I would go with GM because they are almost guaranteed to fit and last.

YOURS WOULD OF COME WITH AN AUBURN POSI OR CONE TYPE YOU MAY WANT TO UPGRADE TO THE "ZEXEL TORSEN" TYPE THAT WAS OE ON 99 AND UP TA/CAMAROS THATS WHAT IVE DONE ON MY 87 W 92 REAR , I PREFER GOOD USED "GM" GEARS WHAT RATIO DO YOU WANT I USUALLY HAVE 3.73'S BUT CAN GET 3.42 OR3.23S I YOU WANT. YOU CAN E-MAIL ME IF YOUR INTERESTED . GM ARE EASIER TO SETUP AND QUIETER!

thanks for the replies everyone...surprisingly it looks like my auburn was replaced since it hardly shows any wear so i left it to send it amongst the wolves until i step up. i chose the 3.73's because i have an auto and can't warrant the 4.10's. yes they are gm and it should be finished sometime tomorrow i'm hoping. looking forward to getting the car in tune now and seeing the difference the gear can make.

I bought the Eaton 3:08 gears; nice 1/4 times, good highway speed... I'm happy!
