Tranny Mount??
Every time I floor it, I feel this hard jerk and I dont know what it is. People say its a tranny mount but I dont know. Please help. But If I take off slow, nothing happens, only when I gun it.
Jack the car up and crawl under there. Place a jack under the tailshaf housing and jack the trans up a little. Now look at the mount, is the rubber part torn loose from the metal plate? Replace the mount if it is.

Probably the transmission mount. When I broke mine awhile back I could see the shifter actually move from the transmission hitting the floor pan so hard.
It's extremly easy to change them. Just take your time and make sure you block the car so it can't roll or fall off the ramps. Safety first!

yes it is really easy to do, in fact i just did one today. all u have to do is jack the transmission up a little bit so its off the crossmember, and then take off the crossmember, and there it is.

I did mine by just unbolting the transmission mount bolt then jacking up the transmission and unbolt the 2 bolts on the mount you can work the mount out with the crossmember on.

Heck get a prothane one they are only like $22 and you can replace it in a short time. Way better than the rubber ones. And stay away from ES..they have been known to cause vibration problems (been there, done that)...
