HEY! I bought my first Camaro today. It's a 1988 Z28 with a 350, and 350 turbo. Its got a BM shiftkit stage 2, headers, flat top pistons, msd ignition, lots of goodies, 4 wheel disk brakes.

So to the tech ques, The 350 turbo fit fine, But the original shifter was made for a 4 speed, the 350 turbo is a 3 spd. So the shifter doesn't quite click into gear properly, How can I fix this to fit a new shifter, As well what are some good looking shifters?

i ithnk the only thing to do is replace the shifter with one for an A3. i like hurst but there are a lot of other choices out there, and it depends on what you expect out of it. i love the quarter stick and msot likely it'll be the only shifter i ever put into a auto trans car
