u-joints?

can you change out u-joints in your garage without a vise*, i heard it could be done---but i want to see if i could do it befor ei took it to some shatty garage...thanks

You can do it w/o a vise, but it will be harder to do. If you want to save money I suggest you go get a cheap vise and use that.

Most driveline shops that I've been to will install for free if you bring the shaft in when you buy the u-joints.
