What kickdown cable am I supposed to use, along with what bracket?

I've got one from a 75 chev pick up and between the adjustment and the end is way too long.... not to mention the end that is the teardrop slide piece hits the throttle return spring on my throttle body when hooked onto the TV cable's original post.


SO FRUSTRATED WHAT TO DO?!

I would take a picture but my camera sucks and it's dark out.

Please help? Anyone that has done this swap on a TPI car that STILL HAS The TPI stuff on it help!
