I did what the tech artical said to do but my slider will not adjust by itself, so how would i adjust it
Right now i just adjusted manualy to my personal preference. Will it do damage if done wrong

 

yes, it can burn up the trans in short order if its misadjusted. Do this, open the throttle up all the way and have some one hold it open/block it off. Press the "D" shaped metal tab and pull the TV cable housing toward the firewall as hard as you can (dont go ape****, though). Release the tab and close the throttle. The cable is now adjusted. You may hear it click once when you release the tab. This is fine. If it ratchets back out then youll need a new tv cable.
