i got an 89 ta with t-5 tranny,car has costum 350 with carb,the best et in the 1/8 are 8.5 at 89,mph my 60 is 2.50,if i try to come out of the hole any harder it brakes the rear axales,this has happend 2 out of three times at the track,what should i do,this is the fatory rear,but i do have 4.10 gears

 

buy aftermarket axles would be a good start and figureing out why the axles break. maybe stiffen the rear up a bit
