Lightweight Flywheel, 383, street/auto-x/drag
I'm in the process of building a 383. I'm trying to get it to put out around 450-500 ft/lbs. I want to be able to do alot of everything, auto-x, drag, and still be daily driver. I've been reading the other posts about lightweight flywheels and i agree that for drag you need more inertia off the line. But for Auto-x you'd be better of with a lighter one. Now my problem, is that i would like something in the middle. Something that will help get the revs up quicker. But do you think that a lightweight one would bog me down with the amount of torque that i'm looking at making? Is there a decent flywheel out there that is not super lightweight, and still less than stock? I had heard that aluminum had a problem of the heat causing it to expand or what not, and that was creating problems. Please help me decide what to do. Thank you!

i have a GMPP nodular flywheel, it is a little less weight than stock.
