How easy would it be to find a LS6 with a 6 speed in one of our cars....I have a 1984 Z-28 and have been thinking about this for a long time!!! Anyone have a clue cuz I know of a nice wrecked corvette that just came into the local junkyard and would make a nice supplier for my car lol Push me into the low 13s maybe 12s that would be nice from a factory motor anyways lol Anywho back the original question what all would i need and how much work would it be to make my dream come true?

 

Just be aware that some LS6 engines have a different flywheel thickness than the normal production LS1 You'll probably have to do some research for adapting a fbody 6speed to the Real LS6. Shouldn't be too hard.
