pick-up tranny into Camaro?

Will a TH-350 tranny from a 1986 Chevy pickup go into a 1982 Camaro? The Camaro has a 3-speed automatic, so I assume it's a TH-350. Will I have to make any mods to the tranny or Camaro frame? The reason I'm swapping transmissions is because this pickup transmission only has about 20 miles on a rebuild. Plus I wathced it be rebuilt, so I know it's legit.

Thanks for your help

82 Camaro could have a 2004r in it. It is also a 3 speed.

The th350 will fit without mods to the frame or anything. BUT you need a new driveshaft, crossmember, and either a new torque arm or a b&m change over kit.

If your car has either a 2004r or a th350 your driveshaft should work. You will still need to do something about the torque arm and crossmember.

Hope this helped.

The 200c is almost identical to a TH350. Your driveshaft fits and the crossmember fits. The only things you will have to do is hook up a vacuum line and buy a kit for your tq arm. The swap is direct except for the tq arm and the selector peice on the transmission which can be swaped from your 200c.
