never really compared covers side by side but i'm suprised no one has changed the 10 bolt cover to work on a 9 bolt, or even made one. far as that goes someone with a cnc mill and a chunk of aluminum could make one pretty quick and easy. with a little thought i think i could make one on my manual mill at work. hope it works out for everyone that wants one.

Thanks ede. You know how long I've been hyped up about getting one made! LOL. I figured I'd quit trying to rely on someone else and go straight to the source this time.
The spacing on the bearing caps is narrower on the 9 bolt than the 10 bolt. I know TA makes one for dana 35's which may be similar. They make alot applications then they did 5 years ago, that's why I approced them about it. I emailed alloy about it because of his good job he did with the strut mounts but I never heard back from him. So I approached TA about it.
I don't think it would be hard to do, that's why I don't buy Miles' excuses on why he never had any made. Personally, I don't think he's got all his **** together, that's what I think the problem is. He doesn't respond quickly or at all to inquiries and then wonders why he isn't selling many parts. Not to mention the prices. I know it's steep for 9 bolt parts but come on....Randy's and Reider Racing both blow him out the water for install/overhaul kits and small parts. He let me (and many others) down on this. So to hell with him. I had him pegged wrong. I can't believe I stuck up for him on here.
Anyways.

how close are the 2 covers? could the holes be pluged in a 10 bolts and redrilled for a 9 bolt? could the 2 bolts in the center be relocated, braces welded on?

I don't have access to both covers to compare. Interesting idea though. I wonder if anyone out there who's got both covers handy could compare and let us know.
