Converter Trivia

500 Pt.s to the first person to give me the stock stall speed of a 91 RS 305 700r4

And on a completely different note, what stall speed would you guys recommend for a 92 Z L98, edelbrock Performer heads, Lt4 Hot Cam. Daily Driver but still want to do Street Legals and/or autocross on occassion. Any Suggestions?

It's around 1600-1800...

A good aftermarket stall speed would be 2200-2600.

Depends on the rear gears you have for a stall converter. (I have 3.42's) It will also depend on how good your chip calibration is. I have much better low end with my stock 85 computer and 85 Vette chip than I do with the 89 computer and custom chip, albeit my top end is way better with this chip.

With the 85 chip and a ZZ4 cam, the 2500 RPM stall unit I have is perfect. With the later stuff, a 3000 would be better. Obviously, in my case, a better calibration of the later chip would be the answer.

You have 50 thousanths more lift than I do. If you have 3.73's the 2500 might work just fine. If you have 3.42's i would think a 2750-3000 would be a better converter. Depends on how much power you want and where you want it.
