Just a few quick ???
Hi well i got a 700r4 with a 2600 stall. Just wondering i dont hit overdrive till about 55-60mph is this normal? I have 2.77 gears in the back(yes, they suck!). Also in overdrive if im goin at like 30-35 mph and let off the gas the rpms shoot down real fast. Im wondering if this is a sprag problem or is it normal cuz the stall is higher? Also, u guys think the 2.77s with the 2500 stall is really hurting me i want to get it changed but im not sure what to do first, that or headers.
jsut an add in the shooting down of rpms is mostly in overdrive. if im goin like 45+ it will wind down slow for a secodn or so and then shoot down. If the converter locks at about 65 it winds down fine till it unlocks. DO i got a prob here? THeir is plenty of engien braking in 1st, 2nd and a bit in 3rd. Sorry if this sounds dumb jsut curious it only has 8k on it and a big hayden tranny cooler on it

The rear gears really aren't well matched to that converter. You'd be a lot happier with 3.42s or 3.73s.
Given your rear gear that not shifting into 4th until 60MPH seems normal. The RPM loss is most likely because it is a looser converter (higher stall). I don't think anything's wrong.
