Transmission: 700-R4
Differentials in '86 Z28
Hey,
I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of differential I have in my car. Its an '86 Z28 and was wondering if the rear end is posi or limited slip. I think that there is a code under the console to check what it would be but I dont know what code I am looking for.
Any ideas??

Transmission: TH700-R4
G80 is the code for GM's posi unit. The RPO sheet will be under your center console lid.
however, the only way to be absolutely sure is to pull the diff cover and look.
