9 bolt problem

about a week a ago i noticed a "clinking" noise comming from my ream end... i thought may be it was my panhard bar... but it wasnt. its my rear end. So i pullthe wheel and the brakes off and i have about a 1/8" of end play on both sides... also it makes a "clunking" noise when put into gear. Can it be rebuilt??? or reshimmed??? i dont know much about 9 bolts any one else incounter this problem??? need help! also if it can be fixed where can i get parts for it???
thanks
JJ

Hmmmm, at a quick guess I'd say your outer axle bearings are probably shot. You can get the axles out by undoing the four bolts at the ends, but you'll need to have access to a press to get the old bearings off the axle shafts and to press the new ones back on. Make sure to get new seals too.
