How are your part throttle shifts and WOT shifts compared to stock? Are they too harsh, not firm enough, etc? Please list the particular transgo kit you have as well. Thanks.

Mine was installed by a shop along with a "performance" rebuild. My 1/2 shift is very nice and so is my 2/3 shift.
My part throttles are fine for the most part on the upshift, but part throttle downshifts are hard all the time. Like, when I'm going from 3 to 2 coming to a stop its "wham!", and I hate it. It can't be good.

With the "modifed" Trans-Go Performance Shift that I carry/use, the shifts are smooth at the part throttle shifts, and the WOT shifts are firm, with the downshifts being not objectionable.

I'm not so much looking for hard or firm shifts, but more of a quick shift. Do your kits offer this? How much firmer or quicker are the transgo shift kits than your modified kit probuilt?

It depends on what hole sizes are used, the size and stall of the torque converter, what rear end gear ratio is used, etc. The shifts are still quick, just not firm at light throttle. The shifts get firmer with more throttle, and this is "exactly" what you want/need. I hope this helps.
