Will my diff hold up?

I'm thinking about picking up a set of strip only wheels and tires. Probably 15x3.5 Weld Draglites for the front and 15x10 Weld Draglites with 26x15x11.5 M/T ET Streets for the rear. My question is can my 7.625" 10 bolt diff handle it? The diff girdle should help but I don't know. Thanks

You've already got the good 28 spline axels. The girlde will help a lot, but now your weak spot will be either the side gears of the gearset. At your power level you may be okay, but then again on slicks it could easily break. Traction is what kills rears, not horsepower.

It's not so much the HP that worries me but the Torque and Traction.
