3.42 vs. 3.73

3.42 vs. 3.73
Ok next question, going to put in a built 700-r4......i got 3.08's i want to go to 3.73 but is that too much or 3.42 gunna be to little......what y'all think?

Transmission: modded 700r4 w/2600
cam size,valve size,stall speed of converter,3.42s are real good forn over-all driving as well as performance,3.73s offer then same if you are using 16"wheels i would definately use 3.42s larger wheel 3.73s....

personally with a 355 and a th350
You have a 1:1 final I'd get a 3.42 If you intend to drive it all that much on the highway

3.42's are a nice all around comprimise. Got a friend at work with a 90 Iroc. Set up almost exactly as my car but eith 3.73's. With the stock TPI it sucks on the high way
