Will Caprice transmission bolt up?
Might be doing an engine/trans swap in my 84 camaro z28. The drivetrain from the camaro will fit in the other vehicle.. However, not sure if the 86 caprice trans will fit in the camaro. They are both 700R-4's but I've heard that camaro bellhousings are different.. If this is so, will the engine/transmission combo fit in the camaro, or am I screwed until I can fine a camaro transmission? Well, gotta figure something out soon....
Thanks for any help..

Like mentioned yep. A few things you may want to consider. If its a 4.3 caprice it's missing a few clutches but its not a big deal. The governer may be better but it may not so you might want to take a look and see if it has lighter springsif so use it. Since you need to remove the tail shaft housing make sure to swap speedo gears while its out of the car.
