Hey yal I ran a 14.3 bone stock and burnt 3rd and 4th gear out at 70k miles and in 2 weeks im getting this high performance 700 r4 with a 2200 stall how much faster do you think I'll be heres the scoop on it.

This tranny comes with a Mad Dog Reprograming Kit ,high temp raybestos clutches, all new steels, bands bushings and rings. A 500 boost valve, a 29 element sprag, heat treated sun shell, high temp pro series raybestos kevlar band and a corvette servo.

you won't be any faster, speed is a reflection of HP. you'll be making the same HP as before.

I only ask because the stock tranny was hesitating going from 1st to 2nd so im sure with more solid shifts the car should be faster.

in all reality u could possibly lose a little on your time. yes a strong shifting tranny is good, but only if you've got the suspension and tires to prevent a strong shifting tranny from breaking your tires loose. My friend went from a stock turbo 350 running a 13.1, to a built turbo 400 with the same gear setup and ran a best of 13.23, he then did a few suspension mods and got some more meat under the rear and now he runs 12.8 all day long

Whenever you discuss the TH350 vs. the TH400 trans, you always have to consider the myth that the TH400 supposedly takes more horsepower to run than the TH350 does. I've always heard it has something to do with the pump in the 400 trans drawing more power to run it. I also noticed your sig says you have a muncie T10? No such thing dude, borg-warner made the T10. Also, if your car has a factory four speed, it should be the Super T10. Not trying to cap on ya, just noticed that in your sig.
