Just wondering if the swap from the tranny can be swapped from the V6 to V8 easily? If I am not mistaken, the bolt pattern on the V6 tranny is different than its V8 cousin. Thanks for your help.

 

Yes, it's quite easy.

Remove the 6-cyl transmission, install a V8 one. Pretty straightforward really.

 

AH, I see. I was wondering though if there was any way to retrofit a V6 4 speed automatic transmission from a V6 Camaro to a V8 Camaro? I have a V6 4 speed auto tranny that I can use but don't know if I can retrofit it to work behind a 350. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks.

 

no it cant. just sell the v6 one, and buy a v8 700r4. those trannies are very common.
