How much can a posi 10 bolt handle?

How much can a posi 10 bolt handle?
I'm looking to have around 400hp and tq with a 383 swap.
I will be running with a built 700R4.
Some one offered me a 10 bolt posi rear off an 88 Iroc. My car doesn't have posi.
Will this rear end be able to handle 400hp?
