hey guys hows it going? I just put this stage 1 700 r4 with a shift kit in it and it wont shift down from 2nd to 1st but WILL shift down from 3rd to 2nd and 4rth from 3rd. I've tried the TV adjustment and I did hear the clicking noises and I dont know whats going on. Any ideas?

 

Once again, your are going to have to provide us with way more detail.

Are you pulling the shifter back into 1 while moving? Or are you just slowing down and feeling the car shift?

 

The shifter cable is broken so I just have it in over drive. The new tranny shifts around only 5 mph for first gear you can feel it because the shift kit.

 

It wont kick down when u floor it in 2nd

 

Got it fixed guys the throttle valve wasnt tight enough. Now itll chirp 2nd and sometimes 3rd.

 

im having the same problem with my new 700r4 and shift kit, wont drop down to 1st. can you explain how you fixed it?

 

Tightened the throttle valve far as it would go. I had a little slack in mine thus it would only downshift from 3rd to 2nd and not 2nd to 1st.
