converter ?

I have a 700r4 with stock converter.

I was just wondering how you tell if your converter is going out.
It seems like lately my car has been having to run at a higher and higher rpm just to keep going the same speed. I would just like to know if its my converter or my transmission is gone or maybe both.

Youd have to do a stall test/brake torque. The only problem is that i dont recall exactly what the stock rpm is supposed to be. Maybe some else can help with that.
