T56 bellhousing to L98?
I've been told that the T56 bellhousing will not work with an L98. They said I'd need a custom piece to make it work. Any truth to this? I did a search and couldn't find anything directly addressing this issue.

Whoever told you that was lying or didn't know what they were talking about. The LT1 bellhousing bolts right up with absolutely no modifications.
The LS1 uses a different bolt pattern and isn't a bolt up swap. It would have to be modified. You could also use the new McLeod modular bellhousing to make that work.

I used to take One a day vitamins. Now I just correct you once a day.

I did know that the input shaft was a different length.
That the LS1 had a different bolt pattern must have been a rumor, though I could swear that I read it somewhere.
You really should take a lot more than one vitamin a day. There just isn't enough of each nutrient in one of those "one a day" pills. I take 12 pills every morning, including a good antioxidant package. Really makes you feel well : )
