I've tried searching and didn't find what I was looking for.

I'm After the distance the from the front on the bellhousing to the shifter on a V8 T5 gearbox. Hopefully someone has one lying around they could measure up.

If you are looking for where to cut the hole in the transmission tunnel, just look for the dimples.

I'm Really after the distance from the front of the bellhousing to the base of the shifter on the box. I got given a toyota supra 5 speed which has a custom chev v8 bellhousing on it. I have measured up the gearbox mount and it is only 1/2 inch off the stock 700r4/T5 location so I can make that work. I just need to find out if the shifter is close to where it needs to be. Thanks for the info on where to cut the hole though.

 

I have T5 and bellhousing in my garage. I'll try to get a measurement tomorrow
