b&m stall

Does anyone have any close up pics of a B&m TC? i bought a motor/ tranny combo and the TC is supposed to be a B&M unit, but i dont see any part numbers and it looks like a stock stall. is there any way to tell? it has GM17 stamped on it and like 68 or something all around the outside. i just wanna make sure i got what i payed for. the motor checked out okay and had all the parts it was said to have, but i am not 100% sure about this TC. i dont see why the guy would lie, just wanna make sure before i bolt a POS stock TC in the car. tia

I don't have a picture, but I have a B&M TC and it looks just like a stock one except it is painted that "B&M" blue. Mine was 12 inches like stock but maybe yours is the 11 inch one, check the size of it.

Mine is the Tork master 2000 converter, I think that the Holeshot 2400 converters are 11 inch, so yours is probably the torkmaster 2000 like mine or the Torkmaster 2400 since the Torkmaster series are just reworked 12 inchers. My Tork 2000 converter had more stall in my stock 350, but now it feels like a stock conveter with like 1200 stall. They are only "rated" to 350 HP but mine hasn't blown and I have 405 at the motor and has gone 12.9 on streets so far.

Think so, at least the Tork master ones are, but I think the Holeshot ones are brand new that's why they are more.

GM17 sounds like one of our reman'd torque converters from advance. The numbers on our TC's are GM17, GM, GM 20 ect...

I'd make sure it isn't...
