Possibly going to do a trade of my 10bolt 2.73/posi with drums for a 10bolt 3.42's/posi with disc brakes. What would be a fair price to pay as the difference in the rear. the 3.42 car was wrecked so mine is just going to keep the thing mobile.

 

If it was the only way to avoid it, I would pay somebody not to leave that 2.73 thing on my property.... I've hauled better than that to the scrap yard many a time....

I'd say, make (or keep!) a friend, and just give it to him. THat way you don't have to deal with a big heavy piece of garbage any more, and he owes you one. Truly a win-win situation.

The 3.42 disc setup is probably worth about $350 - 400 if it's PBRs, maybe $250 if it's Saginaw calipers.
