There are a bunch of guys on the fullsizechevy.com site that claim a 91 4.3 auto trans will bolt up to V8, I'm not familiar with that engine, but none the less they have been claiming they've done it with 2.8s and 2.5s, this doesn't seem right to me.

The 4.3 shares the V8 bolt pattern. It's basically a 350 that's missing cyls 5 & 6. The 60° 6-cyls do not.

Let them claim what they want; it's not your problem if they make fools of themselves, now is it.
