hey, ok So i'm in drive, i'm stoped at a light, if i accelerate really quickly off the light you hear a big boom noise, does it just about everytime i accelerate from a stand still to quickly. My uncle who works on cars says its prob the tranny mount. any1 have any ideas on if its the tranny mount or what else could be?

 

most likely the tranny mounts. get a poly one made by prothane. u need to widen the hole alittle on the crossmember alittle but its a small task.

could be torque arm mount also.


when it "bams" does the shifter and console move? if so mostly likely the tranny mount.
