I have an automatic 3.1L 92 camaro w/ overdrive. this is the third tranny in about four months i have gone through. everytime it's the ssame problem, thirdgear acts as a nuetral. i was told by a few people it's most likely a air pressure issue, but i need a second opinion. the last tranny i just broke lasted me three days we took it out of my dad's camaro and there was nothing wrong with it it worked great, three days after i ahd it in third gear dissapears. i didnt beat the car at all dsuring those three days. what kind of ideas does anyone have that could be causing this problem to reoccur?

 

typical 700r4 same thing happened to me a sprag gear is to blame
