will 1995 camaro rearend fit my 82

Engine: 409ci vortec
Transmission: all steel t700r4,1300 stall yahooooooooooo
will 1995 camaro rearend fit my 82

reason being its got bigger brakes,,and itsa 3.42 possi,,
the car still has the complete rearend in it its a 1995 z/28 rag top,,
also will the front brakes fit my car,, without welding and cutting,, and making parts for the next 2 weeks,,i am in australia so its a bit hard ordering adapters from the U,S,A

Yes the rearend will bolt up fine but if you use thirdgen rims they will stick out two inches on each side. I think you may also need to mess with the emergency brake cable. I think its time to make the 4th gen rear end a sticky. Seems like its coming up everyday.

You will need to modify the e-brake cable and run 4th gen wheels or wheels that meet those specs. You are also going to have to fidle with the brake lines bit. The rear will bolt in but is 4 inches wider (2 per side) and will make a horrendous skate board effect with the stock wheels.

Axle/Gears: 4th gen 10-bolt, posi, 3.42 ratio
for YOUR money, you'd be better off with a 9 inch. import on a rear end is gonna be killer, so you should spend it on a good one. if you were in the US, i'd say go for the 4th gen. you're mnot, so don't. good luck.
