Sierra Gear, ever heard of them?
I found what seems to be a good deal on a rear end package from Drivetrain.com on Ebay. The package is for a 3.73 r&p install kit and an Eaton posi for $534.90.
I really want to run a 3.42 so I emailed them and asked about that.
The reply said he could do that and it is made by Sierra Gear. Are these any good or should I steer clear?

I've never heard of Sierra Gear. That might be just a packager that buys from US mfrs in bulk, or they might have some offshore source of gears that they private-label.
All that I see in there is fine, except maybe the gear. A good posi and a dependable brand of bearings. If it's a Motive or Precision or US Gear or any of those, it's probably OK; if it's made in India or something, then who knows. In fact I'm driving around one of those posi units right now (not from that source though).
I'd find out exactly what that gear is before laying out any money for it.
