Probably a bit closer to 30 if I remember right. It's pretty hefty. Don't get temped with a lightweight one though. The car won't idle very well from the lack of inertia. Guess how I know that?
very close to 35lbs
its unbelievably heavy.

growing up, my dad did alot of sports car stuff... and i know all about the "oh lets put a alum fly weight flywheel in the street car" and then having it stall thing.
but i seriously think you can drop the weight of that heavy thing almost in half.. to say, 15ish and still have almost no drivability loss.... or atleast down to 20.... its insanely heavy..

My aluminum flywheel weighs about 15lbs, and the car has an unstable idle, and it's a TPI 350. Every authority I've read says not to lighten it by more than 3-5 lbs. Typically they just window cut the stock flywheel. I didn't listen and now I'm paying the price.

I hope I don't have any problems with the McLeod Street Twin. I'm opting for the steel flywheel, but it is supposedly lighter than stock.
