Engine: 305
Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.
Urgent Help Needed!!!!!@

how am i suppose to get the c clips on with the slp posi??? help as i am in the middle of this project.

Im not familiar with the slp posi but cant you see the spider gears. Maybe not the way it is but if you but the trans in neutral and spin the driveshaft theres got to be a point where you can see the spider gears in the middle. Then just push the axels in and pop in the c clips.

remove the bolt holding the paddle in the middle. Remove the paddle. Slide axles inwards, set a clip, push axle out. repeat on other side. Install paddle (must be tapped in with a hammer if you have > 3.73 gears.) Install paddle bolt.

yup figured it out. too bad it howeld damnit. oh well its gonna get put on a flat bed and done right this time. prolly a good thing it didnt as if i woul dhave done it right i would have been driving it last night when i hit a deer with my beater truck.
