wont shift into 3rd
i got my car rolling today and it doesnt shift into third gear. i just relized that i didnt plug in that 4 prong plug on the 700r4. my car has no ecm now so i thought there was no use for it, just curious to see what that plg does for the tranny . thanks

Like others have told you in another thread of yours, that plug controls torque converter lockup. As for the no 3rd, did you hookup the TV cable in your TPI to carb swap?
