LT4 clutch
is it just my clutch, or do all LT4 clutch have a SLIGHT chatter as they engage?
its not extremely annoying to me or anything, but its noticeable.
im also getting that pilot bearing whistle that i was warned about.... but i still feel better about having that in there then the bushing...
clutch otherwise behaves fine, and im positive its setup correctly, but i figured id just ask if its normal...

Is it a new clutch? May require a break in process. I bet your just getting the chatter in first gear right? Just break it in, if it continues, your pilot bearing may already be worn, probably from mis-aligning the input shaft when installing. But im pretty sure the problem is its just a new clutch.

when you say LT4 clutch, do you mean the actual disk or the pressure plate? i could be wrong, but i believe the LT4 used a standard lt1 clutch disk, but they had the upgraded PP. like i said im not 100% positive. please correct me if im wrong.

its not a bad chatter, only in first gear at very low RPMs uphill when its first engaging..
it was annoying with the 2.73s, but thats too tall of a rear for the T56 anyway.. its a small fraction of what it was now that i have 4.11s... i'll deal with it
